Hazing Prevention Network

Dedicated to providing current information related to hazing and hazing prevention to individuals and organizations.

StopHazing.org

Accurate, up-to-date hazing information for students, parents and educators. It includes informative articles on hazing in various contexts, including high schools, the military, athletic teams and fraternities and sororities as well as summary of state laws.

Inside Hazing

Practical information on all aspects of hazing as well as the theoretical perspective of Susan Lipkins, PhD, author of "Preventing Hazing: How Parents, Teachers, and Coaches Can Stop the Violence, Harassment, and Humiliation."

Gordie Center

Empowers students to transform their campus and community cultures through peer education, bystander intervention and evidence-informed, student-tested resources with the goal to end hazing and substance misuse.

Accountability & Support

Manages the student conduct process for policy violations and outlines pathways for success. This office also provides empathetic support to students navigating challenges throughout their Mizzou experience, ensuring fair and consistent procedures in accordance with University of Missouri System regulations.

Care Team

One-on-one support and consultation, including interventions, advocacy, referrals and follow-up services for students experiencing significant difficulties related to mental health, physical health, personal and family emergencies, financial issues or other areas of concern.

Counseling Center

Provides brief individual and group therapy, 24/7 crisis support, and referral services within the greater Columbia community to develop individualized student support networks.

MU Police Department

Internationally accredited law enforcement agency. Striving to help keep our campus safe and enhance community policing.

Provides programs and services designed to inform, educate and assist families while serving as the primary liaison and resource.

Office of Institutional Equity

Enforces the university's non-discrimination policies, proactively educates the campus community and serves as a central point for connecting individuals affected by discrimination or retaliation with essential support resources. Provides information on a wide variety of topics to support student well-being and assist students in making decisions about their lives that are healthy for them.

Tigers Roar Responsibly

Debunks misconceptions about student behaviors at Mizzou, and equips students with skills to make healthy decisions involving alcohol and other drugs, interpersonal relationships, and more.

Hazing violates university policy, state law and recognized student organization policies. You can make a confidential report through the Office of Student Accountability & Support or report anonymously by calling the UM system Compliance hotline 844-469-6383.
