What Happens When You Report

Make a Hazing Report

Hazing violates university policy, state law and recognized student organization policies. You can make a confidential report through the Office of Student Accountability & Support or report anonymously by calling the UM system Compliance hotline 844-469-6383.

After Making a Report

When the university receives reports of hazing, the Office of Student Accountability and Support will review and determine the most appropriate next steps. If a report is received with information for the person submitting the report, staff will reach out to the individual for follow-up. If it is determined there is an immediate threat to health and safety of Mizzou students, immediate action may be taken. If not, the office will work with the appropriate stakeholders to educate, mediate or investigate further if necessary.

Investigative Process Begins

If applicable: Temporary action may be enacted at any time in accordance with CRR 200.020.
